Trek with acclimatization via Everest base camp
4200 - 4600 US Dollars
Arriving to Lhasa, the capital of Buddhism and Tibet. This is a high-altitude city based above 3700 meters.
At first we need to reach good acclimatization for this altitude and for the local climate. Also we will visit old Buddhism themples. Walking around the Potala Palace like a local prayers. There will be enough of time to buy some souvenirs.
We get a bus and go around 350 km to Shigatse city, an amazing place where Dmitry Raevsky meet his Master for the first time. Here we will stay for one night.
We go from Shigatse to EBC (Everest Base Camp). We have a night in a small village at the highest mountain in the World.
We stay in EBC for 2 days. Just imagine: 2 days in the environment of real climbers, heroes of 21th century, who might prepare for the most important event in their lives! Two days in place with high altitude, shiny glaciers, crevases. It's a legendary place.
With a good acclimatization we start to go back to Lhasa by bus. We have a night in a hotel in Shigatse.
A way to Lhasa. One night in Lhasa.
Transfer to Nagqu city from Lhasa. Here we will leave some our stuff before in the hotel before the trek.
We need to wake up earlier - the road is calling, and at first we get the jeeps and go to the mountains as close as possible. At the end we leave our cars and it takes 3-5 hours of trekking before we come to the Base Camp.
A day of rest in BC, it's better to walk around, drink a lot.
We strart to discover the unforgettable valley, we go to Shambhala walls as close as possible, we go to the hot spring and explore the place where meteorite was felt.
This is the last day of trekking. Early in the morning we collect our backpacks and go to the jeeps. After 5 hours of driving and we come to the hotel in Nagqu city. Shower, bed, sheets - like at home…
Transfer from Nagqu back to Lhasa.
We leave Lhasa. See you next time!
